Abstract

Joel Paviotti is a professor, political scientist, historian, and writer, as well as a producer and scientific disseminator, specifically on the Iconografia da História page. The sum of followers on several digital platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Spotify, SoundCloud, Anchor, among others – is about 800,000 people, reaching weekly the range of one and a half million people, in Brazil and worldwide. As a channel of scientific dissemination, the page addresses varied issues, about different historical contexts, promoting greater approximation with broad audiences and/or the public. The contents published in the various social networks of the page are the result of research, readings, and narrative constructions of the collaborative work of a team formed by professionals from different areas. In a shared authority, the Iconografia da História page is one of the practices of public history that have been carried out in Brazil, as a space for scientific dissemination, historical knowledge, and dialogue with diverse audiences.
