Abstract

Flávia Caimi is a History graduate and a specialist in School Supervision and Regional History from Universidade de Passo Fundo and she has a Masters in Education from the same university. She has a Doctoral degree in Education from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and a Postdoctoral degree from Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO/Argen-tina). She is a retired professor at Universidade de Passo Fundo and her main fields of action are training of History teachers and researchers in education. She worked as a teacher in primary and secondary school and has relevant experience in the field of History Teaching, where her main focuses of research are teaching, learning, teacher training, textbooks and school knowledge.
