This text explains how the History Supervised Internship component offer was planned and executed at the Feder-al University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), campus Natal. Due to the impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the teaching activities carried out in the remote format, the difficulties with the training of undergraduate students, it was necessary to redesign the course programs considering several variables. We realized that despite the challenges imposed on teacher training courses, the experiences brought us closer to methodologies that sought to improve the teaching-learning process and mo-bilized the training debate in an extension action carried out at the end of the component.
