Abstract

The article reflected on shared experiences and narratives in the podcast series “Teacher Listening: History classes on Dictatorship”, by the Group and Ex-tension Project Fontes Históricas da Ditadura, of the Licentiate in History at FECLESC / UECE in the city of Quixadá-CE. The chances of the episodes took place with public schools in Sertão Central Ceará through digital platforms and using methods of Oral History. Themes related to the teaching of the Civil-Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), teaching practices, as well as their challenges in the present time, such as authoritarianism, the pandemic and remote teaching, were addressed. Our analysis highlighted the need to fight for the construction of critical essential education, the defense of the democratic rule of law and social justice, as well as the fight against negationist narratives.
