This paper is a research report about the
search, elaboration and application of a
podcast about the historical personage
“Rainha Jinga”, made with the teams of
the second Year of the Technical Middle
School Dom Bosco in Recife, Pernambuco.
The action was developed by students
taking part in the “Institutional Scholarship
Program for Teaching Initiation,
Federal Rural University of Pernambuco”.
We present in this text the theoretical
framework consulted for the production
of the podcast, the process of construction
of this material, and the results and perspectives
conceived not only after the application
of the podcast, but also of a questionnaire
interested in understanding the
level of understanding of students and the
links created in this complex relationship
between past and present.
