This article discusses the construction of a unified corpus of the proceedings from the Encontro Nacional de Pesquisadores do Ensino de História (ENPEH) and the Perspectivas do Ensino de História, covering the period from 1988 to 2020. We articulate the notion of the digital craftsperson with our research practice in history education, encompassing the curation of dispersed documents, technical processing through digital techniques (OCR, Python scripts), and manual validation of metadata. We advocate for technology as a means of organizing and safeguarding documents. As a result, we gathered texts from all editions (except the first ENPEH, which could not be located) and structured the documents in navigable formats by event, individual articles, and thematic groups. The archive is openly accessible on the Zenodo plataform (with a permanent DOI). We also offer a panoramic reading of the events, opening questions and possibilities for future research.
